Struts 2.0 as Portlet Framework

A huge Struts 2.0 discussion on the struts-dev list has started. Everybody is putting in their ideas of how Struts 2.0 ought to be like. I encourage all Portal/Portlet developers to participate in that discussion in struts-dev and provide their insight on how Struts 2.0 could become a good portlet framework.

Firebase upgraded properties are not yet supported in Google Analytics App

Recently I saw a message in Firebase Console to upgrade my Firebase property to Google Analytics property. Such properties are called Google Analytics App + Web properties in GA after upgrade. The primary benefit for upgrading the property that I see is that we can see all Firebase Analytics data in Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a tool that we all have used for years and it is slightly easier for me. I am also more comfortable doing analysis using Google Analytics than Firebase Analytics. Enterprise Portal Content Management

Content Management is one of the major motivations behind portals. But it is really unfortunate that there is no portal solution (at least in java world) that can fulfill even the basic content publishing requirements. A basic content management solution contains at least a content repository, content creation methods, content publishing methods, workflow and an API for content manipulation. In the past I have given a look on few major portals and reached to this conclusion. First, as usual, I have given a look on various open source portals. But other than the basic content repository and few APIs, I wasn't able to find anything. Means no open source portal can be used as an instant content publishing solution.
